My dear friend and a key employee of our former screen printing business, Studio 4 East, Phil Hardiman, is recovering from heart surgery. He’s doing well, which is not surprising to anyone that knows him…. and A LOT of people do know him. Phil’s natural state is to help others – this is uncharted territory for him.
I know all too well that, even with health insurance, complex medical procedures come along with many extra expenses. With Phil being a recent retiree the timing isn’t the best. This is an effort to ease some of that burden by offering the chance for someone to win this painting.
Phil’s natural state is to help others. He probably won’t feel all this attention is needed but his friends and family want to do this for him. We ask that everyone keep this quiet (from him) for as long as possible.
