3 day intensive workshop at the beautiful Preserve at Chocorua,Tamworth, NH, in the White Mountains. March 11-13, 2026. Limited to 15 people.

I can teach all levels and all mediums including oil on copper. I have no “secrets” nor proprietary methods that I keep to myself. I am an open book and you can learn from my journey and how I learned to overcome creative blocks through better, simpler, chemistry and a 7 color palette. I paint indirectly, layer by layer, in a non-destructive method that gives you much more control over the goal of a successful, satisfying painting. link in my bio.

Hearty Marty finally reached his limit. It was 5 Degrees F outside, he rolled the car window down and stuck his head out going 45 mph. After a big snort he pulled his head back in and looked at me, head cocked, like somehow I made it too cold. 🥶

Marty in his element at camp. I won’t be bringing him to the exhibition closing today with @barbarafoxartstudio at The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University from 2-4PM. When he was a puppy he had a habit of surreptitiously pooping on the floor of galleries. I cant trust that he has grown out of that behavior. It could have been his “critique” of the art…. maybe. He’s a good boy.

My 2 person show with Barbara Fox continues in the Dresser Gallery at the The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University. We both have 27 pieces on exhibit until December 19th.

Marty walking up the hill as about 100 elementary school kids were waking home. He loves kids! He’s so gentle with them. There were about a dozen girls with using both hands all petting him at once. He was in a trance. 😁 I didn’t get a photo of that. He’s the same color as the fall leaves on this hill. Marty Camo!
